Gary J. Skidmore

Gary Skidmore, CEO, Aberdeen Group, has expertise in corporate development; business development and product creation for private equity and venture capital backed adtech software and information service companies.
Before Aberdeen Group, as a consultant, his clients included Adlucent, a performance-based retail marketing technology and analytics service and software company, Avention (formerly OneSource), a leader in business information solutions and sales enablement, and Afoundria, a SaaS solution for post-acute care clinicians.
Prior to beginning his consulting practice, Skidmore was COO of The Dachis Group a social marketing optimization software solutions company. Previously Gary was President of Harte-Hanks, a global, multichannel database marketing company (NYSE:HHS). Gary began his career in 1976 as Vice President of Marketing for Sweet Publishing and founded Select Marketing in 1981. Harte-Hanks acquired Select Marketing in 1994.
Gary is currently an adjunct professor, teaching Digital Marketing, at ACU.
