Charles Swift joined ALC as EVP, Client Data Strategy, after leaving PubWorX – an extension of Hearst, where he served as CMO. Prior to that he was at Hearst, where he served as vice president, marketing analysis & operations for Hearst Magazines, a unit of Hearst Corporation. He was accountable for overseeing Hearst’s fully integrated print and online customer marketing database and the associated targeting, execution and analysis of marketing campaigns. Swift oversaw Hearst’s magazine circulation planning & financial analysis, fulfillment, customer service and list rental activities. Prior to Hearst, Swift served as vice president, consumer marketing for LexisNexis, where he oversaw consumer marketing efforts for the company’s U.S. Legal Markets division. Prior to that, he was vice president, direct marketing and research at LexisNexis, where he started in 2006. Previously, Swift was vice president-business analysis at Columbia House Company from 2003 to 2005, and held several management positions at American Express Company from 1996 to 2003, including VP-information and analysis and VP-business development. Prior to American Express Swift was with Booz Allen & Hamilton. Swift is a current board member of the Princeton Alumni Weekly Magazine and Seeger Bartlett Foundation.
