Les Dinkin is a Managing Director with the New York Office of Novantas. Clients leverage the firm’s advisory, solutions and data services to accelerate their profitable growth.

Les focuses on improving each client’s immediate and ongoing performance with practical growth programs that are grounded in business and marketing strategy — to acquire more quality customers, retain top customers and deepen relationships across segments and channels.

During his over 26 years of experience in consulting, banking and investment services, Les has served clients in the U.S., Canada, Eastern Europe, and South America.

Les was previously the president of the NBW Consulting, a partner at Oliver Wyman and was with KPMG Peat Marwick. Prior to transitioning to consulting, he was an executive with Citibank and American Express/Shearson. Before entering financial services, he was a consumer brand management executive with Nabisco and at International Playtex. Les also taught Marketing as an Adjunct Professor, at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

He has been published and quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Money Magazine, USA Today, Newsday, American Banker, Banking Strategies, and interviewed on Bloomberg Radio, NPR, among other media outlets. Les is also a frequent speaker at financial services industry conferences.

Les earned a Marketing MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business and studied computer science and electrical engineering at Brown University.
