Michael Becker


Michael J. Becker is a recognized mobile marketing pioneer, with 20+ years industry expertise. He is the co-founder, Managing Partner & CEO North American of mCordis, a leading provider of professional mobile marketing eduction and advisory services. Michael is an author, educator and industry volunteer. He is the author of a number of books and articles, including Mobile Marketing for Dummies. He is on the boards of Marketing EDGE and the Mobile Marketing Association in North American and on the advisory boards for Assurant, Funmobility and Privowny. He is also an adjunct professor of mobile marketing at National University. Prior to forming mCordis Michael was the Managing Director North America for the Mobile Marketing Associations and co-founder of Archer, a leading mobile messaging solutions provider. Michael is pursuing a doctorate in business administration at Golden Gate University and is uncovering new insights into the role mobile and data are playing within marketing; specifically, his research is focussed on the factors that may influence consumer willingness to explicitly exchange their personal information with marketers.
