This prestigious award, now in its fourth year, recognizes doctoral candidates from accredited programs, with the best dissertations in the area of direct/interactive marketing.

Steffey Professor of Marketing and co-Director of the Sloan Center for Internet Retailing at the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Riverside, will receive the DMEF Robert B. Clarke Outstanding Educator Award.

New York, NY - The Direct Marketing Educational Foundation (DMEF) Board today announced the election of 2011-2012 officers, 11 new trustees and term renewals and extensions of its Board of Trustees, as well as members of its prestigious Chair’s Advisory Council. The terms commence on October 1 at DMEF’s Annual Meeting, which will be held at the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston, Massachusetts.

Mayer, Jr. Education Leadership Award — and Guthy-Renker, one of the world’s largest direct marketing companies, will be presented with the Corporate Leadership Award.
 

New York, NY — The Direct Marketing Educational Foundation (DMEF) was saddened to learn of the death of Richard “Dick” Montesi, the former president of DMEF. Montesi died peacefully at his home in New Canaan, Connecticut on Sunday, June 12. Paying tribute to his passion and commitment to education and the field of direct marketing, DMEF has created the Montesi Scholarship Fund.

DES MOINES, IA – Mark Duda, Director of Sales for Database Marketing Services for Meredith Corporation, passed away Saturday, March 19. He was 53 years old. Mark, who joined Meredith in 2006, was an energetic and passionate professional and a well-known leader in the data services industry. Prior to joining Meredith he served as Partner and Vice President of Data Services at Direct.
