DMEF announces its newest trustees, Lynn Edmonds, President, LW Robbins and Markus Wilhelm, CEO, Solar Strata LLC, approved by the Board of Trustees during its Board meeting.  After a four- and five-year hiatus, respectively, Edmonds and Wilhelm rejoin the Board to complete the slate of professionals and academics committed to supporting the DMEF.

New York, NY — DMEF today announced the kickoff of the sixth year of its Next Generation Leaders Program (NextGen), an innovative, fast-track, rotational program designed to deliver the bright new marketing talent to the field. NextGen is just one of many facets used by the DMEF to expand and enrich the marketing talent pool.

New York, NY — The Direct Marketing Educational Foundation (DMEF) today announced the winners of the 2012 DMEF Collegiate ECHO Direct/Interactive Marketing Challenge, whose content was provided by SkyMall.  DMEF awarded a total of $8,500 in scholarships to the University of Georgia, which swept this year’s competition, with $3,500 in cash prizes going to the winning student teams.

New York, NY, January 9, 2012 — The Direct Marketing Educational Foundation (DMEF) Board today announced three new trustees, brought on to fill positions vacated due to resignations. The incoming trustees are Robert W. Allen, former president & CEO of The Vermont Country Store; David Diamond, vice president, dELiA*s; and Jeff Gundersen, founder & CEO of Executive Connections LLC. All three have terms expiring in June 2013, at which time they will be eligible to be re-elected for a three-year term.
