-Board Officers Through 2015 Announced-


NEW YORK – Marketing EDGE, the only national nonprofit of its kind solely committed to acquaint professors and college students with – and to engage and involve them in – the business of marketing,  announced today its Board officers for the coming fiscal year, as well as eight industry leaders who will join its Board of Trustees for three-year terms. 

The new Board officers for FY2015 (July 2014 – June 2015) are:
  • Chair: Christine Aguilera, Kim Komando Show

  • Vice Chair/DMA: Tom Benton, Direct Marketing Association

"Each year Marketing EDGE opens doors to thousands of students who are eager to join the marketing field.   Their enthusiasm for our industry is contagious and their passion is invigorating which, in turn, fuels our passion and drive to expand,” Chair Christine Aguilera said.  “During my term, Marketing EDGE will mark an important milestone:  50 years of opening doors to the marketing field and helping students realize their potential.  As we face this major milestone, during the coming two years, the Board will be focused on two major objectives:  1) To scale our programs and activities to meet the growing needs of our industry; and 2) to ensure that the financial resources of Marketing EDGE keep pace with the growing needs of this field.  Given the projected talent shortages, with support and engagement of individuals, corporations and institutions throughout this field working together, our opportunities are limitless.”
