MARKETING EDGE STATEMENT IN RESPONSE TO DMA / ANA ANNOUNCEMENT

As a 501(c)(3), Marketing EDGE is an independent nonprofit organization with an unwavering commitment to preparing the next generation of college students in the field of marketing. For more than 50 years, Marketing EDGE’s mission has been to Educate, Develop, Grow, and Employ college students as they prepare to take on exciting careers and challenges in marketing. 
 
Throughout the years, Marketing EDGE has enjoyed a productive and successful partnership with DMA – the Data & Marketing Association – along with numerous trade organizations, leaders of industry, corporations and key influencers from all walks of the marketing landscape. 
 
Our partnerships are central to Marketing EDGE’s ability to enable access to valuable industry resources and in turn, to provide industry access to those resources nurtured through our mission.  As you may be aware, the DMA and the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) recently announced that they will be joining forces.
 
Now, more than ever, engagement and support from those throughout the industry is vital to ensure that Marketing EDGE can deliver on the rich programs and activities which allow us to serve our key constituents, including academics, corporations and students. 
 
As Marketing EDGE continues to navigate the evolving field of marketing and identifies powerful ways to deliver on our mission, we look forward to continuing to serve those in the industry.
