Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam | De Boelelaan 1105, 2nd Floor

The IMRC 2018 was hosted by the marketing department of the School of Business and Economics of the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and sessions were held there on 24 March (the 2nd day of the conference). The university was founded in 1880 at the ‘Zuid As’, which is now known as the heart of the Amsterdam  Business district. The Vrije Universiteit is an open organization, strongly linked to people and society. This is carried through in the mission of vision of the School, “Science with Purpose.”

The marketing department is a research-oriented department that engages in high-quality research that is published in major international scientific journals. Our research focuses on all three domains of marketing: Consumer Behavior, Modeling, and Marketing Strategy (see ‘Research'). We offer a broad program of marketing courses, including a highly-evaluated MSc in Marketing, and a part time MSc in Marketing that is oriented towards students with relevant working experience (see ‘Education').
