Heineken Experience

Day 1 of the IMRC takes place at the Heineken Experience.

For Heineken® fans, the original brewery in the city center is at Heineken Experience.  The largest room is named ‘Koelschip,’ which literally translates as ‘cooling ship,’ named after its historical role in the brewing process. It is located on the brewery’s top floor, 30 meters above ground level. Until the 1960s, hot beer wort was cooled here, simply by opening the many windows. Today, the impressive room, with its beautiful copper-plated bar hosts presentations, receptions and dinners. It has a spacious balcony that offers a breathtaking view of the heart of Amsterdam.
