Collegiate ECHO 2018-2019 Faculty Page | Boxed

The Fall 2018-2019 Collegiate ECHO Marketing Challenge gives students the experience of creating a marketing plan for a client.  Boxed is the subject of the 2018-2019 Challenge.

Boxed allows customers to shop for bulk household items online and have them shipped directly to their door with no membership fees and free delivery on orders over $49.  They have issued a challenge to students for a multichannel marketing campaign that targets one of four markets, focusing on the target demographic of affluent moms, specifically including a word-of-mouth tactic.

  • Students work as "agencies" of 2-5 members on a project to develop a marketing plan and campaign pitch.

  • Faculty advisors nationwide find the Challenge a useful teaching tool.
