Open call for individuals, organizations and academic institutions to be honored for education, professional development, and leadership in marketing

NEW YORK – The search is on for the best of the best in the marketing industry. A call for nominations is now open for the 2019 EDGE Awards, the signature national event held by Marketing EDGE, a national higher-education nonprofit. This exclusive gathering pays tribute to both new leaders and known legends in the marketing industry. The 2019 EDGE Awards are scheduled to be presented on June 3, 2019 in New York City.

The EDGE Awards recognize corporations, agencies and executives who are setting the benchmark for innovation and excellence in the marketing industry, while also giving back to marketing education. Nominations for honorees who lead from the edge, creating state-of-the-art business models that disrupt the status quo, can be submitted at Deadline for nominations: January 15, 2019.

Marketing EDGE is accepting nominations in five distinct categories:

  • The Lifetime Achievement Award pays tribute to an honoree who has influenced countless lives, campaigns and businesses, thus opening doors for generations of men and women in their pursuit of career excellence and performance through intelligent, evocative, creative and accountable marketing. Selection also is based upon an individual’s personal support over time for marketing education programs.
  • The Corporate Heritage Award honors and recognizes corporations that have pioneered, inspired, and sustained excellence and leadership in the marketing field. Each honoree is a recognized trailblazer in the marketing industry that has, during its history, recruited, trained and inspired generations of business leaders, touching every area of the industry today.
  • The Corporate Disruptor Award pays tribute to a leading corporation that is paving a new frontier in marketing while demonstrating a corporate and industry-wide commitment to support the future of the field through education, mentorship and service.
  • The Education Award honors an institution for creating a new approach to marketing education that bridges the gap between academic theory and the practical knowledge and skills required in the workplace.
  • The Financial Innovator Award honors and recognizes an individual who brings a combination of capital markets expertise and strategic vision and oversight to significantly expand and impact businesses in the marketing industry. The honoree is renowned as a leader in strategic investments in the marketing industry and has a demonstrated commitment to supporting the future of the field through education, mentorship and service.

These five awards will be presented alongside the renowned “Rising Stars Awards,” which identify emerging marketing practitioners who are next-generation data and digital marketing leaders.
