Could you give a brief description of your current job and responsibilities?
At Wawa, I support the marketing services team in identifying, developing, and managing programs to enhance the customer experience and achieve growth with a concentration on services, digital initiatives and emerging opportunities.
How has your experience in NextGen helped you in your current position?
NextGen helped me figure out early on what I liked about marketing and allowed me identify my strengths and weaknesses in the field. The program gave me a 360 degree view of marketing and unparalleled experience working for three great companies. I was exposed to projects that would have taken me years (and several jobs) to experience. All of this has helped me develop an integrated approach to marketing in my current position.
What kind of connections have you made through your involvement with NextGen?
Through NextGen I found fabulous business connections and wonderful friends. NextGen provides a professional network for life that you can reach out to for advice and business opportunities.
What advice would you give to someone considering participation in NextGen?
Reach out to us! Talk to past associates and find out about their experiences and how NextGen has helped them achieve their professional goals. Each associate has found their different niche in marketing; however, we all had some very formative experiences in the program that helped us get to where we are today.
