Pamela Maphis Larrick

Chief Executive Officer of Omnicom’s Javelin Marketing Group

Pamela Maphis Larrick, chief executive officer of Omnicom’s Javelin Marketing Group, is a proven business leader with a life-long passion for education, innovation and learning. In addition to her current position, Pam held executive positions as CEO for FCBi Worldwide and MRM Partners Worldwide, and general manager of O&M Direct NY. Along this path, Pam has been a powerful and relentless advocate for building relationships with customers.

Turning to Marketing EDGE, eight years ago, as co-Chair of the Board of Trustee’s Marketing Committee, Pam helped lead the re-positioning and re-branding of the then-Direct Marketing Educational Foundation into the data-driven, digital and integrated marketing age, represented as Marketing EDGE. Currently, Pam serves on the Marketing EDGE Chair’s Advisory Council, an invitation-only professional group of six who serve to champion a particular initiative. In Pam’s case, she is called upon to support the expanded awareness of the new name, Marketing EDGE, and to be an objective view regarding marketing and brand-building. Pam’s avid support of students and education is demonstrated by her contributions to Marketing EDGE’s Next Generation Leaders program. For the third straight year under Pam’s leadership, Javelin Marketing Group is employing two graduating college seniors during their first one-year job placement. These associates are being groomed to be the industry leaders of tomorrow. Pam’s guidance, mentorship and support for their career development and growth helps advance their knowledge of and experience in marketing.

For her alma mater, West Virginia University (WVU), Pam has served on the WVU Foundation Board of Trustees since 2009, and is a member of its Executive Committee since 2011. Pam is also chairman of its Resource Committee. Pam became a founding member of Women of WVU in 2013, and formerly served on the Advisory Committee to the WVU School of Journalism.

Pam has been recognized as one of Ad Age’s “Global Power 100,” and one of their “25 Women Leaders of the Advertising Industry.” She received the Emerson Lifetime Achievement Award for Innovation and Service to the direct marketing industry by the John Caples International Awards organization, which honors the best in direct and interactive marketing around the world. Pam also is an honoree of the 2014 Silver Apple Award, given by The Direct Marketing Club of New York.
