Connor Lemenze

Sales Director

Connor Lemenze joined Persado in 2014 as its third sales hire following the company’s Series A round of funding. At the time, Persado had a handful of clients predominantly in the financial services and telecommunications sectors. Today, with Connor’s help, the company’s industry-leading Cognitive Content solution serves Fortune 500 brands across retail, travel and hospitality, media and more. His contribution has not only been influential in driving Persado’s growth, but also that of the marketing organizations with which he works, generating as much as a triple-digit lift in campaign performance and in some cases growth in market share.

Through machine learning and advanced testing methodologies Connor challenges Persado’s customers with new ideas and creative approaches enabled by using an AI [artificial intelligence] platform. Obliterating limitations posed by the typical A/B testing approach, Persado uncovers what specific words, phrases, and emotions drive individuals to respond to messaging at scale – dramatically lifting results over controls.

Connor is passionate about mentorship and education. As the lead sales instructor for Persado’s employee onboarding program, he mentors new hires to help them gain a deeper understanding of how to help generate business value for customers. It isn’t rare to see someone shadowing him on calls or even client meetings, when appropriate. In addition, Connor also lends his free time to educate students on the importance of mathematics in marketing. In partnership with BUILD, he volunteers to present math and marketing use-cases to students, judges rocket/investor pitches at student startup events, and works hands-on with students to build marketing plans for their startup businesses.

Prior to joining Persado, Connor worked in sales for a building management software company, Database International Group. He also has entrepreneurial experience. While in college, Connor created EazyOn, a ski product helping skiers get into their boots. He self-ran, funded and distributed the product nationwide in more than 500 retail stores in the U.S. until a global ski product distributor assumed sales rights in 2014. Connor has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Babson College — and is an avid skier.
