As Senior Vice President of Digital Marketing for Citi Cards, Louis Cohen leads media strategies via channels including search engine marketing, search engine optimization, affiliate marketing, and lead Generation. In his role, Lou supports internal training at Citi at both global and corporate levels to ensure the most current best practices are shared at all levels and in all lines of business.

Since 2010 Louis has also been known as Professor Cohen, teaching digital marketing, search and social media courses at Baruch College-City University of New York.

In 2013, he was hired by New York University to bring the award-winning courses he created for Baruch to NYU’s Stern School of Business, where he teaches in the undergraduate Marketing program. Since 2011, he has served as an advisor for the not-for-profit organization, Revision Ventures, which provides opportunities for underprivileged youth to become educated in Digital Marketing. The organization enables these youth to work with small businesses in economically depressed areas to help those businesses & these young adults thrive.

In parallel to these efforts, Lou also invests his time to mentor former students or any others who seek out his time. Lou has also been previously engaged with Marketing EDGE by acting as a judge for the Collegiate ECHO competition and assisting with coaching/mentoring ECHO student teams at Baruch with their submissions.

Lou earned his MBA in Marketing at CUNY Baruch College and holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management with a focus in Entrepreneurship from Carnegie Mellon University.
