Michael Rucker is the co-founder and chief operating officer of OmniVirt, a 360°/virtual reality/augmented reality (VR/AR) advertising and distribution platform for brands, publishers and developers. OmniVirt is bringing scale, ad targeting, analytics and programmatic media solutions to the world of immersive media. Through OmniVirt’s platform, ad formats, and media network clients with immersive content can distribute their content across today’s leading publishers. The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Vice, Discovery, Oath, National Geographic, USA Today, and CNN all use OmniVirt to power their VR/AR advertising experiences.

Prior to starting OmniVirt, Michael spent seven years at YouTube where he helped drive YouTube’s growth from its early days, launching YouTube’s first monetization products. In subsequent roles, Michael led consumer marketing for the video platform across Asia-Pacific, and was the product lead on YouTube’s original programming initiative and multi-channel network business.

Michael received his Master’s degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business and his Bachelor’s degree from Yale University.
