Noman Ali

President, Strategic Growth
Research Now

President of Research Now’s data monetization efforts, “Nomi” is a successful entrepreneur, business leader and innovator in marketing research data and services.

In 2007 Nomi was a co-founder of Peanut Labs, an innovative company that provides monetization and gamification for social media sites, online games and other communities through advertising and market research surveys. By connecting researchers with social media, Peanut Labs connected users with thousands of paid online surveys from leading brands and market researchers, generating revenue for publishers while rewarding those users for their valuable opinions, with publisher incentives.

Based on this new approach to market research – offering game points or currency for completing surveys and engaging with ads – Peanut Labs has won numerous accolades, among them the Advertising Research Foundation’s (ARFs) Innovation Award and Silver Innovation Award; Fast Company‘s “World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies;” and the American Marketing Association Foundation’s David K. Harden Award. Nomi also received the ARF’s Innovation Award for Research Distinction.

Since the acquisition of Peanut Labs by Research Now in 2010, Nomi helped lead the integration and growth of the combined operations to create, in 2017, the largest permission-based digital data collection and research-data solutions enterprise in the industry. As part of Research Now, Nomi is exploring new data-based advertising and loyalty marketing business opportunities for the company.

Nomi earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan. He is based in San Francisco, where he is actively involved in mentoring and leadership activities.
