Sarah Newhall, principal and chief strategy officer at Anne Lewis Strategies, is a seasoned digital professional with more than a decade of experience working at the intersection of digital, data and nonprofit strategy. Sarah’s digital marketing expertise spans nonprofit growth and fundraising, advocacy, brand loyalty, and data and analytics. At Anne Lewis Strategies, Sarah has helped clients spanning Conservation International, the Brady Campaign to End Gun Violence, UsAgainstAlzheimer’s, the American Heart Association, Sandy Hook Promise, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, among others, and execute their strategies with a particular focus on using digital to accomplish objectives.

Sarah has a longstanding passion for giving back to her community, fostering talent around her, and impacting change through extensions of her work. A fierce believer in the impact of education, she began tutoring elementary school kids in Lawrence, MA, while in high school. Since then, Sarah has volunteered with local education and mental wellness organizations in New York and Washington DC as a fundraiser, tutor and mentor, such as the Inner City Scholarship Fund (NY), Reaching Out Against Eating Disorders (NY), and Horton’s Kids (DC). She also takes a personal interest in coaching and mentoring women with whom she works directly and has worked with as a consultant.
